Amy Zhang is a senior financial professional from Shanghai China, who has achieved good reputation and performance in the capital market.
Starting as a doctor in 1999, she started cross-border international travel agencies, coffee and food chains, and investment service. Finally, she switched to private equity investment in 2008 and is now one of the earliest fund of funds investments and government industry fund managers in China.
She has invested in hundreds of companies, and dozens of companies have been listed on the public market or acquired by mergers and acquisitions, helping companies and bringing good returns to investors.
Currently, Amy also serves as a major executive of several companies such as Shanghai Shanda Investment Management Co., Ltd.,managing assets of nearly 40 billion RMB. Her more than 20 years of successful industry and investment management experience are inseparable from the efforts of lifelong learning.
After giving up the medical career, she obtained an MBA management degree from the Macau University of Science and Technology, and continued to study academic skills in various institutions.
She also serves as the Executive Chairman of Industrial Training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an Entrepreneurship Tutor at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
She has won the National Private Equity Investment Annual Award and the Outstanding Female Investor Award several times, participated in various TV shows and speeches to enhance the influence and serve entrepreneurs!
From a doctor to an entrepreneur then an investor now, Amy's identity has been constantly changing, but she has maintained a kind heart of helping others.
In the local Orange County community, she often participates in charity activities. In the first half of 2020, during the outbreak of the epidemic in Southern California, Amy teamed up with the public welfare organization CAMC to raise epidemic prevention supplies.
In order to further increase public awareness and participation, they led community children to make epidemic prevention masks, and invited Irvine Mayor Christina Shea and Vice Mayor Anthony to participate the donation of epidemic prevention materials several times, providing necessary work safety protection to small and medium-sized merchants and community supermarkets in Irvine, and providing necessary help to Hog Hospital, an important medical institution in the area, and the nursing station, which is facing a serious shortage of protective equipment.
As an active Orange County resident, Amy has provided support and hope to the community during special times, and hopes to make more contributions to the community
